Round two completed at Africa Open

Round two of the Africa Open was completed on Saturday but the start to the third round was delayed by fog. Friday's play was cut short by rain at East London Golf Club in South Africa with John Hahn safely in the clubhouse on 16 under, leading by two shots. A handful of players had to finish their second rounds on Saturday but American Hahn's advantage remained intact. The cut was set at minus five and that meant the end of the road for several home favourites, including Wallie Coetsee, Bryce Easton and Louis de Jager, all of whom fell one shot short. Having experienced heavy rain during the second round, the players returning for round three were greeted by thick fog as play was pushed back by half an hour. South African Justin Walters was one of the first to tee off and he made two birdies in the opening three holes to move on to nine-under par, putting him in a tie for 14th.
