Pacers outclass Clippers in Indiana

The Indiana Pacers' fourth straight NBA win came against the Los Angeles Clippers, while Miami continued their dominance of Charlotte. Paul George's 36 points helped the Pacers improve to 32-7 after a 106-92 win over the Pacific Division-leading Clippers on Saturday. The Pacers, a huge 13 games clear atop the Central Division, opened up a 16-point half-time lead at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse and never looked back. Lance Stephenson produced a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds to provide George with valuable support. Jamal Crawford (22 points), Blake Griffin (19) and DeAndre Jordan (12 points and 17 rebounds) were the Clippers' best. The Miami Heat made it 15 straight wins over the Charlotte Bobcats, but needed overtime to clinch the 104-96 victory. LeBron James had 34 points, including six in overtime, and eight rebounds to see the Southeast Division leaders to the win. The Portland Trail Blazers brushed aside the Dallas Mavericks with a 127-111 win despite conceding 41 last-quarter points. The Chicago Bulls thrashed the Philadelphia 76ers 103-78 on the back of 21 points and 16 rebounds from Joakim Noah. Terrence Jones (36 points and 11 rebounds) saw the Houston Rockets to a 114-104 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. The New Orleans Pelicans slumped to their eighth straight loss, beaten 97-87 by the Golden State Warriors. Josh Smith and Rodney Stuckey combined to score 42 points, leading the Detroit Pistons past the Washington Wizards 104-98 and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Utah Jazz 98-72.
